The Pearl of Naithon is Luxury 5 star Condominium resort located in the beach village of Naithon (Nai Thon). The development is nestled perfectly between the Surinat National park and the beautiful Nai Thon Beach which slopes gently into the Andaman sea.
The Pearl of Naithon development was initially started back in Dec 2006 being finally complete in April 2010, taking a total of 5 years 4 months to complete. So as you will see there has been no expense spared or corners cut in relation to the design or construction of what is rightly consider to be one of the best boutique style condominium developments on the Island of Phuket, Thailand.
The Pearl of Naithon is set in tropical landscaped grounds of 7 Rai with a build density being one of the lower ratios meaning there is plenty of space in and around the apartments and the deveolpment as a whole. The development consists of 77 residential condominium apartments ranging from 1 bed penthouses to 5 bed Super Penthouse over two floors. There are also commercial areas to include Club House, Restaurant and Bar.

The Pearl of Naithon like must other Condominium Developments on Phuket Thailand is made up of three main types of area;

Common Area
Private Residential Area at Pearl of Naithon
The residential apartments are owned privately by the owners through either freehold or lease agreements. All costs associated with the running of the apartment and its internal maintenance are paid by the individual apartment owner.
Private Commercial Area at Pearl of Naithon
The commercial areas consist of, Club House, Restaurant, Bar and Offices. A private company owns these areas. All costs associated with the running of these areas and the internal maintenance will be paid by the private company that owns them.
Common Area at Pearl of Naithon
The common area is all other areas not mentioned above and it includes the communal facilities such as Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, Car Park and Tropical Gardens. All costs associated with the running and maintaining of these areas are taken from the Common Area Maintenance (CAM fees) pooled funds. Each private owner whether Residential or Commercial will pay towards these costs.
The amount an owner pays towards the Common Area costs is based on the following:
The total square meter of the internal space they own x 45 THB.
Example; If you own an apartment that has a living space of 100 square meters you will pay 100 x 45 THB = 4,500 THB per month.
This money then goes into the Common Area Maintenance and is used to maintain the common areas.
Please note; there are additional fees to pay from owners that have their own private plunge pools.
Current stage of the Pearl of Naithon
At the time of writing this article all building work had been complete and most condominium units sold with only 8 remaining. The development has recently been registered as a condominium along with the Thai Governing Condominium Act and Rules. A small number of apartment owners have registered their individual apartments with many in the process and soon to follow. The first AGM is due to be held Aug 2011 and this is when the new Juristic Person will be voted in along with the Pearl of Naithon Committee. The Pearl of Naithon Committee will consist of a number of apartment owners voted in by the other owners. The committee will then oversee the company in charge of running the Common Area Maintenance fees. Once this is complete the development will be seen as 100% up and running.

Swimming Pool
The Pearl of Naithon has a large swimming pool with a shallow end for children. The pool then gets progressively deeper towards the opposite end where there is a swim under bridge that opens up into a large sheltered Jacuzzi area. Located around the swimming pool you will find a large Sala area, a number of sun loungers and palm trees to shade you from the sun. There is also poolside table service for the restaurant.
Gymnasium
The Pearl of Naithon has a substantial Gymnasium with a number of free weights and cardio equipment to include; Running Machine, Cross trainer etc. Additionally the Gymnasium has Male and Female toilets, showers and changing rooms.
Ground floor restaurant and Coffee bar/bakery
This is found in the reception area and is mainly for indoor dining although it has bi-foldable doors that open up to a seated decking area facing the pool.
Rooftop Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
The rooftop restaurant and bar is perfect for an evening cocktail and light evening meal. There is a choice of sit-up bar stalls, tables or loungers. Here you will be able gaze over the whole development itself while also catching glimpses of the Andaman Sea. This can be booked for parties or more formal dining and will accommodate approximately 30 - 40 people. Opening times 5pm to 11pm.
Pearl of Naithon car park
There are 2 car parking areas. Under ground parking and a drop off area or guest parking at front of reception. There is around 30 + car parking spaces.

The Pearl of Naithon is situated in the beach village of Nai Thon which is found on the more tranquil west coast of Phuket and to the north of the island. It is less than 10 minutes from the airport yet sheltered from any aircraft noise.

Try the Indigo Pearl for their all you can eat and drink Sunday brunch. Starts at 12 noon and finishes 3pm. Get there at 12 and leave plenty of room as this will possibly be one of the best dining experiences you will ever have, it certainly is one of mine. Particularly when you want value for money.
